I remember the big gripe when Star Wars came out. Dumb people. To quote Monty Python (Flying Circus) "It's people like you (these) What cause unrest."

I mean, seriously. We would all be better off if they would stop stirring the inequality stew untill it REALLY was a matter of intolerance. Maybe I'll go make a movie and everyone will be gray and look exactly the same. Reminds me of a Twilight Zone Episode actually. Someone wished that everyone was equal and got along perfectly. The next morning everyone was gray and had a set pattern to their lives that they couldn't deviate from. Yeah, right, everything was dandy. Stop trying to level the field and be TOLERANT of other things instead of trying to make those things go away. Talk about discrimination, they take it to it's peak. Why discriminate against one thing when you can discriminate against them all? Psshhhhh... Idiots.

And yes, something similar did come up just before TTT was released, a site protesting about it becuase they claimed the Peter Jackson had deliberatly titled the move 'The Two Towers' in order to cash in on the 9/11 tradgedy.

I guess I'm a racist....I hate Orcs. They're just plain shifty and smell bad too. My girlfriend hates them also, but she has to because she's half Hobbit.

Both of us were a bit upset about parts of this latest movie Trilogy. Did anyone notice there was only one Dwarf? That seems pretty racist to me. And we were almost ready to make a call to S.P.C.O. (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Oliphants)after watching the Return of the King.

sigh Some people just live to be offended. I seem to remember some talk when The Phantom Menace came out of that movie being accused of being racist as well. Something to do with Jar-Jar being too "Jamaican" and the two ambassodors(?) from the Trade Federation sounded too much like southeast Asians... Whatever.
