Anyone else experiencing this? When opening a Word or Excel document, it's automatically scanned for viruses. Yesterday, this process became excruciatingly slow. If I turn off the Office plug-in, it's okay.

The only thing I can think that changed is an updated virus definitions file. But unistalling and reinstalling Norton didn't fix the problem.

BTW, this is happening on two separate machines.

I opened up Norton Systemworks last night, and it was really weird, now that you mention it. Really slow, really bogged down. I have no idea what the problem is.

We've been hit with a ton of support calls for this. Disabling resolves it for now.....
