The only part of my childhood that I recall with unabated fondess just leapt back into my concious mind for the first time since its occurrance.

Nice find Wes, I remember those, but I was a wee young for those at the time.

What I remember most about my childhood are blocky pixels and static ridden sound effects. Long live the atari 2600!... I tried to be a normal kid once, joined the school band a conned my folks into getting me a drum kit. It only lasted 12 months before I got border with my C-64 and hocked the kit for a Sega... arrr, I loved that sega. So much more fun that anything real.

Anyone know the name of that TV show back in the 80's all about video games? It was an American show, I caught an episode of it on TV some time last year at like 2:00am, brought back lots of old memories.

I still have several boxes of old C-64, Sega and earl PC gaming mags (386/486 days) stashed away, always good for a trip down memory lane. I still actually own a bunch of old console systems, cause it's never the same when you use an emulator.

Anyone remember ColecoVision? I had one! Used to play Donkey Kong Jr. on there! Then I got a Nintendo.

Ah the good ol' days. I'm too ancient for Fisher Price though Wes, my childhood was enriched by Hornby Toys
