Topic awaiting preservation: pop-up windows (Page 1 of 1)

Definitely need some input on this one? I have to create a pop-up window on a commercial site (per owners request) -- I know, I know, I hate them too but it is my job.

They would like the pop-up to load right after the homepage and it is to contain a graphical link to another site for online purchases. Does anyone have the JS code for this?

Any directions would be greatly appreciated ? esp. simple ones!

natazha: Although I don't think I should be encouraging such things if it has to be done it has to be done (and if you've explained about how unpopular pop ups are then you have done all you can - I have some stats somehwere around on the subject if you haven't) - use Pugzly's utility here:

and fire the pop-up from the body's onload.
