Topic awaiting preservation: Collapsable menu

I'm looking for a very good, cross-browser collapsing/expanding menu system.

It's going to serve as an index for a training CD that I am working on for my company. I don't need anything too fancy, just a solid menu that works in at least IE 5.0 and higher. That is the key point, my company will distribute this to clients to run on our system which we KNOW runs IE 5.0.

Basically I want a menu that has the little plus signs (any image will do, I plan on replacing them anyway) and expands down the subtopics of an index when you click.

Any ideas. I plan on doing lots of searching on this myself, but I thought I'd start with the master's in here to get on the right track.
