Hi,

For the moment I'm surfing the net to find out how I can update flat files with javascript. Binding textfiles to my webpages, sorting, filtering, it all works but I can't find a way to update this text file. The longer I seek, the more I believe It's not possible to update a text file on the server with client side javascript.

The only thing I'm looking for is a way to allow users to save messege in a text file of my website, something like the functionality of a guestbook, but with other purposes. If anyone knows how I can do this, please let me know.

We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

You will need to involve server side scripting in order to create or edit any files on the server.
