Today I attended an "Artist's Reception" for a Web-Art exhibition at SSCC, here in Seattle. This is the first time in my life I have been accused of being an "Artist". Too bad the machines in the exhibit hall didn't have the QuickTime plug-in, as two of my pages had soundtracks. Oh well, I was happy that others thought that the pages stood on there own with just the Visual elements. Here is one of the pages (w/sound) http://visionarium.darktech.org/darkstar I made this page last winter for my beginning html class, it was the second page I ever built. The picture is of my girlfriend and our rottweiler on a backcountry snowboard trip in the Chugach Mts. Then, to make the day even better, when I got home I received an email offering me an internship on a WSU web project (coding html/php). What a day! when I know everything, will my brain stop hurting so much when I code?
