Hi all,

I want the index (or default) page of a site point to page A but after a certain date/time I want it to point to page B. I know I can do this with javascript by retrieving the date, of course. But then I'm using the date of the client and this date/time can be incorrect or manipulated. Is there a way to retrieve the date/time of the server? I know this isn't a waterproof solution and I propably should do this with server side scripting but I don't have the knowledge (yet).

In case I can solve this problem with javascript, please tell me, if I should do it with server side scripting, move this post and tell me how I can do this in PHP.

Thanks

We have done so.

This is what I'm trying to achieve:

I'm managing the website of an organisation which has a lot of young people, lets say 10...30 year old. I promised those guys and girls a complete new layout starting 1/1/2003. I can upload the thing on 31/12/2002 but the site contains a few surprises and I don't want them to see it before newyears day. So I want all those who surf to the site on 31/12/2002 23:59:59 to get the old site but 1 second later the new site.

OK, I like computers but don't expect me to be behind my computer on 1/1/2003 00:00:00 .
