Topic awaiting preservation: need some help (Page 1 of 1)

im working on a project for school. i need to render color over a black and white image. so far it is going pretty good but i ran into a few problems, and i was hoping i could grab some help.

in the image there are twothings that i cant seem to get to look right.

1. a wooden door with glass panels in it.
2. a fluorescent light fixture(bottom view so you can see the bulbs)

anyone know any good turtorials to help me?

Can we see the image you`re working on ? Images vary and sometimes need specific solutions.
