Char Neurotic (0) Inmate Newly admitted From: St. Charles, MO, USA Insane since: Jul 2003	posted 07-29-2003 22:37 Not to sound "stupid" but, just out of Photoshop class last week, computer lost its life in a lighning storm the next day - starting brand new today with a new computer and 2 weeks since class. Tried to open a photo in Photoshop and get this prompt : "Could not open "E:\Images\blah.... .JPG" Because it is not a valid Photshop document". Thanks, appreciate the help !!

Just to see if it is a valid file? and if it is - you could try saving it maybe in a different format and see if you can open in PS that way.
