Topic awaiting preservation: Filter fun (Page 1 of 2)

Ok, here`s the deal. I`ve seen this at a couple of other forums and it`s fun. So, I`m going to steal...I mean share it here. (thanks Sir Mark and Master Greg)

The rules :
1) Start with a 300 x 300 document, the fore/background colors of choice, Render Clouds.
2) Use anything in the Filters Menu and Layers Pallette. No other tools or outside filters.
3) Transform is Ok.
4) Name your image, post it.

Now go play.

Title: London in flames

I picked taht title coz it reminded me of a song refering to London burning down to ashes. For some reason, i find similiarities with the mountain tileset of FF3

EDIT: Insider, i would, but i dont remember which ones i picked, since i constantly changed it..=P

Even thought I must admit using and abusing of filters often leads to nothing, they're useful to people who can't hold a brush at all (me )

Used a single Alpha, hope that isn't cheating. Still an Alpha is just a greyscale layer right? I'm not rationalizing.. no!



I was going for mountains.. the cold type..

I opened my 300x300 but everytime I ran a filter I get the following error:

As per usual with these things I've twiddled and untwiddled on so many layers that methinks the main "filter recipe" I can remember using were, clouds, polar coord, and wave.
