Topic awaiting preservation: A little airbrushin' (Page 1 of 1)

Well, I have been practising(sp?) alot with "realistic airbrushing", like removing or adding clothing to photographs, and this is my latest, and sadly, my best attempt so far. There were no outside source other than the source photo itself. . .this was all airbrush, dodge/burn, and noise (which i hate to use for skin!!). Well, here it is. Nudity warning, nothing explicit. Wow !! i am really liking that image.. great job.

If i were to mention one little thing, it would be way the ass blurs on the edges, if you were to polish it up a bit, then it would be so much better.

My suggestons would be to not use the airbrush so much. You need to redefine edges with a hard paintbrush. Look at the difference in definition between the butt and the back and legs. Also , instead of noise, experiment a bit with textured or spatter brushes.

it's really not a bad start - the various shapes are all well defined as far as 'what they are'.

However, it is very obvious that it is an overpaint. The blurriness is the key giveaway, along with some discrepanices in color and firmness. It looks like she's got a saggy ass...and she does *not* have a saggy ass.... =)

Get a reference - there are plenty of photos out there of naked girls in poses just like that.
