hi im new to this forum and i was wondering if u guys could help me with a text shape in PS7......how can i do the G&R decal on the side of the top car ....just like how can i do the shape of it...... http://www.boomspeed.com/michael1zfan/sig11d.jpg

hmm, this would be a lot easier in Freehand but in photoshop you could select your text, go to the text warp tool at the top of the screen, select arc lower and set a negative value on the bend line

but.....that wont make the top of the letters straight will it?

Yes, it does keep the tops of the leters straight. It also distorts the outsides of the letters a bit, but with Transform/Perspective, you can straighten that out too.
