errm, what's this all about? are you inviting people to colour your drawing for you or create digital pictures as you have done from your digital pencil?

dude Armen,
with 2 years at art college, pictures shown in the London art gallery and 14 years as a graphic designer working on such licences as Jurassic park, and Harry Potter, I could perhaps muddle together enough experience to add some coloured pixels to your image but perhaps the question is, can you? or even, why don't you?
how about showing us your version first

This would be pretty easy in Photoshop or Fireworks even. I like fireworks' smooth pencil tool. But I agree with Morph, the only way to learn is to have a try yourself.

oooh boy, I've been waiting all my life to have a totally arbitrary and meaningless "winner's vote" for coloring someone's picture for them...

=)

Excellent job Weadz.

Armen ^ wtf ? and if your " tosted " you should be a lot more mellow than that. Morph was bang on, I saw this post a while ago, read your response to his first reply and decided not to bother with it.

armen - not a dumb idea.

Just poorly presented.

as suggested by morph, a way to go about it that would most likely get you better responses would be to paint it yourself, show it, and ask for someone to demonstrate their technique on it...

of course, adding things like "dude, can you paint it or not" are sure ways to get even worse replies

Of course, Weadah is a whore. He'll paint anything

Armen, for a better result when scanning, ink your sketch. Try to use jelly pens if you dont want to spend a lot of moiney.

Armen - about 2-3 hours man, mostly on the greyscale, colouring it was... 30 mins i spose.
on the line strength thing - for a painted look the sketch is mostly hidden after the form is blocked in (unless you're after a more comic style) so what you have there is pretty useable.

recipe is - copy paste the work into a new canvas, ctrl+shft+u to make it greyscale and adjust the brightness/contrast till the background is white and the lines are fairly faint.

you can paint directly onto this, or on layers above orrr you can set the layer mode to multiply and paint on layers above and beneath (reccomended). hammer in a ruff background (describing the light) and start building up the form, first the shape then its highlites and shadows.

the sketch layer after a while gets turned off and is used mostly for checking details. continue building it up till youre sick of it.

i work in greyscale till it looks close to the thing its meant to look like, then do the colour with brush tool in overlay mode (mostly). rendering in greys then colouring gives flexability but isnt required, use colours instead if it suits ya.

if working in illustration is a goal, the ability to model/colour the sketch artists (and your own) work is often required. so yah from that perspective im into this kinda thing if only for the practice. =D

Thanks alot wedah, i read those stuff froma tutorail don't remmeber where, but didn't mention the grayscale thing, yeah i thing it's much more better to color it after shaping the whole thing... but you did ThE whole thing with mouse or wacom(which" i don't know the hell it is..)??
do you recomend using path for the out-layer(the sketch)...?

Btw, thanks morph 4 the post... do you have a gallery on a site?
