I started this today in class, and decided to try to go furthur with it. What techniques could I use to make the walls more realistic, because right now it looks very plain and boring. I wouldnt know how to use correct lighting here. Any help would be appreciated.

ok I added some lighting, but I dont think it looks right

The one thing that's annoying me is that the perspective seems a bit too exaggerated. Can't help you with the lighting, though. These things are always a bit tricky...

Try making the wall around the door all one shadow colour, not graduated
graduate shadows on the walls from dark near the door to light as it gets closer to us
same with the floor only with the shape of the door cutting out the floor shadows
maybe add some cracks in the walls?

Definately take the distortion on the faces down some so they don't look like they've been streached out on silly putty. Maybe add some texture to the walls or are they supposed to be glass smooth?

yea i wanted the perspective to be like that but now that i think about it, it might look better with a lower ceiling and wider. The faces were just something to fill the windows but ill work on it. and as for the light outside on the floor.. ill try that too. for the walls i wanted to be semi realistic but still be "perfect looking"...

well Ill fix it up a bit tommorow and repost new versions.
