Topic awaiting preservation: Rocky Ground (Page 1 of 1)

Is there any way for me to create a rocky, looking ground? I want to put it in perspective against a building. I tried using the "Rock texture with alpha" and then transforming with Perspective, but it just looks ugly. Thanks in advance.

Well I don't have time right now to do a tutorial, I did quickly record an action for a sort of "rocky beach texture". It's far from perfect, but it at least shows you the technique behind the idea. If you change photoshop's actions playback options you can watch each step as it happens.
