I have this idea that has been stuck in my damn hed forever now and I need to get it out but dont know how to.. I saw this template with the kind of picture I want to do. I want to have a logo and make it the same color as the background and make it look like the background on this template http://www.4templates.com/index.php?_p=vp&i=xeno7or (NOTE: Not the watermark) If anyone knows what to do that would be most helpfull. THANKS!!!

AFX: Could you be a bit more specific. That background looks like a few close up photos of things all jammed together and coloured blue (there is pos. some trendwhorey jaggedy bits too but we'll skate over that for now). Is that what you want?

As i can understand you want this:
picture of probably some other lulac

ok here's what i did:
it may sound complicated for just this but in my opinion gives the best result

1) [ctrl]+[a]
2) image -> mode -> grayscale
3) image -> mode -> rgb
4) [ctrl]+[c]
5) [delete]
6) [ctrl]+[v]
7) add a layer style -> overlay:
choose a light blue color
blend mode: lighten
opacity 60-70%
8) adjust layer opacity to 25%
