Checked my prefences and even uninstalled photoshop, reinstalled it but it keeps my old settings... cant get it back to default... grrrr... have now a color picker in cmyk or something like that... |

You have the Info palette and the Colour palette. In both of those, there is a little circle with a triangle in the upper-right. In the palette that is giving you trouble, click the little circle with a triangle and follow your nose. |

Ghislaine: Do you see the letters H, S, B, R, G, B, L, a, b and the radio buttons preceding them ? The letter picked ( by the radio button ) shows which color component is used in the vertical slider. Select the H component and you'll get the 'good one' back. |
