Has anyone got a favourite or preferred way of achieving this effect?
This is mine, from a Tutorial by Schitzoboy HERE This was my first attempt using Schitzoboys methods which I found very clear to follow.

For some reason that link is not working for me theGuest. Is it just me?? I think I have tried to visit that page before. Heh I've just realised that I got the technique for the "sticky tape" from Photoshop Gurus, could you tell mr theGuest That is a great site and I visit there often.

TBB: It works now - I'd also edit that info as you are dropping in your IP, ISP, etc. (pos. not too serious but I wouldn't go revealing it wily nily).

"I am a silly old hector" I've edited the post now. The link still does not work for me in IE or FireBird. The fault lies at my end I think but i can't figure out why. When I visit the Photoshop Gurus home page it still wont load the "Torn Edges" tutorial link on that page.

TBB: It works fine for me and we are on the same ISP and close enoguh that I assume I'd also get caching problems too - try clearing your cache and/or going for a hrad refresh.

Ya i'm at a loss too because i have both those browsers plus NS7 and Mozilla 1.5 too and they all load the page fine.

I have to assume then that your problem might stem from your browser settings perhaps?
Try the suggestion though too about flushing your cache and retrying.

I'm also going to answer your email i just got too. But i thought i'd post this reply here also so others would know that i'm aware of your problem.
