DUH- i know... i'm spose to study this year, freakin phisics & math . . . anyways, this is it, my second work, i'd say it's a "big leap" for me.
your comments are my savior...
"i've sketched it, with a 0.9 mechanical pencil, scaned it with a nikon camera, no wacom, only mouse...i drew it in black and white "Jones advise" then colored it... high budget tools, you know"

Yey, its pretty cool. Would be great for an Xmas present. What i bugs me is that the face has got an almost potorealistic texture, while the chest looks blurry and the belly has got more of a graffitti/spraycan style.

Whats up with his hand?!

That is very cool.

Vast improvement over the last one you posted.

The only criticisms I can really offer are to agree with Alevice that the body could use a bit more in the way of texture, and with Synax that it needs some sort of background.

Neither the texture nor the background need to be very elaborate or detailed, it just needs a litte something.

But again, very cool, and a very definate improvement - good work.

but still i've got a lot to improve... i've spend much of the work on the face, applying real skin textures to it. the chest is done with smuge tool mostly, the stomache is done with "laminess". oh by the way the right had (melted one) is totaly done with hardbrushes, but the face , i've smuged it in the begining, then applied hard brush to it, so which one is better?/// i still didn't like my coloring....

If you want to be a bit strict, just use hard brushes. Else, use whatever you find suiting for you.

Btw, a good practicing tool for "strict" digital painting is paintBBS. It can only be found on Oekaki (doodle) sites (which force you to register), but its damn good and i love it. note, its a java applet, so you cant dl it :P
