Topic awaiting preservation: Buttons - Sources and good examples? (Page 1 of 1)

Hey hey,

I've got to create a new button template to match some interior parts of my site theme, but I'm short on time with about a million things to do for my site. Does anyone know of any GOOD (not cheesy) sources for either freeware/paid button templates? Something that DOESN'T spam you with 1,000 pop-ups?

Or simple tutorials? I'm looking for buttons that are fairly 2D-looking moreso than the typical glass/3D/Aqua styles that you see everywhere. I'm just looking for a variety of styles I can preview. Most of the clip-art CDs with Web graphics have the most cheesy stuff.

Make your own...once you get the hang of it they're a breeze to knock out!

I didn't check much into it but it looked to be something like you might be looking for. Also check out the buttongenerator.com link on the main page..it seemed to be something you might want as well.

I also think if you posted your layout so people could see what kind of fit would look good..they could more easily direct you to tutorials.

No problem. I would have searched more for some others but I am at work and kinda grabbed the first thing decent I could find because of time constraints. :P

Another route might be the Adobe Exchange: http://share.studio.adobe.com/Default.asp

If you happen to have Photoshop, there are a dozen or so button generating actions. Many will allow you to cutomize the setting such as color and lables.
