Topic awaiting preservation: Tech-Slop mirrors and what-not (Page 1 of 1)

I've got two copies of Technical Slop up: one on our primary account and another on the sub-account. If you want to be a mirror, e-mail me and I'll point you to the ZIP file. Tech-Slop is 4.15/5.19 megs on the drive; the zip is 3.9 megs. Yeah, pretty please put something Tech-Slop blatant in the subject so I don't toss it as junk at a glance.

Basic SSI is needed. All I use is #include, though. With just that, everything should run fine. Also, I only took a quick romp through. If something comes up missing, let me know and I'll fix.

When I get in the mood, I'll pretty up the mirror page.
Technical Slop Mirrors

Actually, I probably should add one last entry to the front page.

One thing that has been on my mind with this is creative license. For example, maybe not mirroring the Pui Pui stuff. I have been thinking about blasting Pui Pui anyways. He can be easily eliminated. I'm open to thoughts on that.

Also, in the creative license vein, I've been thinking about giving some leway in prettifying Tech-Slop. I've got all of the pages linked to a CSS file, but the file is blank and there are no classes in the content. Anybody with any HTML savvy should be able to fix that no prob after a quick glance at the code. Maybe allow some colour changes or font things or something. But, then again, that really goes against what Tech-Slop has been about and some may consider such changes unforgivable sacrilege. I'm sure most of you folks will be against it, but I'm open to thoughts.

Right now, nothing but my servers. Please don't go crazy and suck everything down. Consideration and moderation, please.

Got up this morning and did a more thorough scrub for graphics. Found a buttload to upload. Just got them up. Hopefully that's everything.

I've got a few things in the zip to take of. Then I'll get to the e-mailing.

Got a call from my mother. Been dealing with a bad situation.
Also got an e-mail concerning name change of my server.
Once all of this junk is taken care of, I'll get to the e-mailing.

So far, the name change that I have been waiting for hasn't happened. I can't connect to the new name, but I can still get the old one. This is screwed up. It was supposed to happen some days ago, and it will probably happen at the worst time.

After doing some trans-inter-dental thinking, I'm going to add one last ramble to Tech-Slop. This is something that I call The Final Technique.

My brain and skull aren't getting along too well right now.

Let's just say that I'm not happy.
Suppossed to happen a month ago, but never did.
Move things around thinking everything is fine.
Then it finally happens and I'm screwed all over again.

I'm tired of dealing with this shit. But I will admit that it is in part my fault for putting my trust where I normally wouldn't. Everything seems to go so much smoother when I'm a paranoid prick.

Time to pull a few all-nighters and put it to bed.

LOL I almost forgot.
That unfinished tutorial actually makes use of 2 different D-Maps to build a final D-Map. I guess you could call it meta-Displace or something. Stick that in your tea and stir it.

Because of my recent problems, I've been thinking about some old things. This idea led to that idea and blah blah blah. Toss in a little chat with a bud, and next thing you know I'm digging through my archives.

Dug out my first generation PDF of Tech-Slop. Pretty much everything except for the front door.

And, after a bit more chat with previously mentioned bud, he's going to serve it up.
