What is that mean???? I can change text in my browser when I open my HTML file created Notepad!! Any help, please~~~~.

Sounds to me like they haven't learned the necessity of the &amp;lt; and &amp;gt; character entities.

But I don't understand your question.

I don't understand what it means. Sounds to me like I cannot change any text area. But actually I could change those The cat was playing in the garden.

What does this tutorial mean? Do you have any idea?

My guess is they use some complicated DHTML there and that is the message for people who's browsers don't allow textareas in textareas (which clearly includes IE6).

Ugh. They're using the <xmp> tag, deprecated since HTML 4.0. They should *not* be using that, they should be using character entities.
