There's nothing you can do about the white between page loads. Internet Explorer clears the window the moment you click a link and it can't display the new page until it has received its code. Other browsers (like Mozilla) don't do it that way and display the old page until the new one is loaded - check your site there and you'll see. But honestly I don't think this part of a second of whiteness is that much of an issue - most IE users probably won't even notice it as they're used to see it every time the click a link.
