I think this question should go here:

I got the wonderful job of translating a business card to a static webpage (see here)

It's supposed to be a non-scrolling page, even at the size of 800x600. I did that, but now my boss asked me if I could please remove that nasty scrollbar since there is no need for the page to scroll and this bar only takes up space. Then I realised I don't know how to do that, and now I'm thinking that it is always there, even if it is not active.

Anyway, IS there a simple way of just hiding the bar or can this only be done the difficult way?

*sigh* sorry, I'm really not awake yet..

I just discovered that I was doing this: <body scrolling="auto"
instead of this: <body scroll="auto"

Just FYI, viewing that page in Mozilla at 800x600 and the page is significantly longer than the screen, causing it to scroll vertically.

Not a bad thing IMO, but if they want no scrolling at all at 800x600, everything will need to be made smaller.

There is a tutorial at webmonkey about browser sizes:
sizing up the browsers
though it's a bit outdated still a good read.
