I don't know where you are but here colleges have an accelerated course for those that have a degree in one field and want to get one in something totaly diffent. Since she does have her MBA, she's looking at 2-3 years and she would have a BS in computer programming. Along the way, grab some freebee jobs to build up a portfolio and by the time she's done...she has a degree and a protfolio to help land a job.
