Ok, this site ahs been tested in IE6 and NN6. As soon as I understand the pageLoad function, it will work properly in O6 too. The style sheet was written for V4+ browsers and anyone that can verify it works in any of the 4+ or 5+ will get one of my favorite cookies |

I get a little bit of a horizontal scroll bar in IE6 (1280x1024 res) . Also, I get the "Features" and "Admiration" shoved under the orange and yellow lines at the top when I minimize my brower (well not minimize, but when I like double click on the title bar, what the hell do you call that) |

Allewyn: The horizontal scrollbar thing is tricky as there is so much positioning and absolute and relative widths its going to be difficult to track down and will probably involve tweaking until its right. My first guess would be that it might be something to do with this: code: #contentLayer{

GRUMBLE: It actually happens at most screen resolutions - Allewyn: Did that solution not work that I proposed above? Its difficult to track down the problem but some tweaking should nail it. |

That's weird. I don't see it locally or when I access the site with IE6 or NN6.2.1 |

Allewyn: I don't see a blue and white site. I still see the HSBoD though. |

Allewyn: I can see it now (I'm not sure if I was seeing a cached version). The HSBoD is now gone and I like the brigther feel of this design. |

Great! Thanks for that ray of hope Now if I can just find a way for it to work in Opera...any ideas? |

Allewyn: I posted a similar question and came up with a similar answer (i.e. you can't script for the IFRAME in Opera): |

Ok, in the meantime how 'bout I write a set of pages with tables and have a sniffer load them only for Opera. Would that be possible? Maybe I should just wait until Ox gets it's shite together. |

Allewyn: There are probably various ways to do this - I'd go for serverside as it atrikes me as being the simplest route (for me) but use whatever means are available and you are comfortable with. |
