Yes sir, this splash is not splash but it's the main part of my site... and we've (my partner and I) have been working on it for a while now... and no sir, my partner wants pop-up but i'm into convincing him that nobody else does and I'll never see it happen

I voted on your site for #1, number 2 is too hard to read and the third one just doesn't look as smooth as the first. Nice work

Well if it's a playground as it says your aiming at more like me as an audience (graphic mad, loves good design), so for me No. 2 is the one. I'll do a reviews of all of them though, but just a few questions "why dark blue for the text?" and "why the text overlapping the image?", If I was you I would try just having the text on it's own or some where it's more visible.

No. 1: Is good but that text is to amateur for this type of thing, also it makes it look cheap as it's one of then font which look like you can pick up any where on the net and it does not fit in the rest of the fonts on the image.

No. 2: is good but needs tidying up a bit on the text. The text is a good type nice and clean, but the spacing is to much and if the font your using is Creaminal you can't really do an think about it.

No. 3: Is good again but the font is more at a retro type images and not really for this one. There is an other thing I hate about that font on this image is that the font shows what?s behind it which to me distracts me reading the font as the image is behind it.

I don't know what style you want for this, but If it was me I would go for a clean style meaning not bold and bulky fonts (only use this type of font wisely though on a clean style). If your going for this nice and clean style try the fonts below:-

7 Days
Dotum
Base 4
Federation
Life support

Above is a few fonts I have that I thought would be good for this design, but it's up to you what you think best for the overall style you want the visitor to see first time. If you set the style on the splash screen and continue it thought out the site, the visitor I think would be happy one this as they know the overall style of the site. I judge a book by it's cover and first impressions count I think and because of that a font can make all the difference in the style and content of what?s with in. So choose wisely on fonts for text.

Darkshadow... thanx for the ideas and good points... I used dark blue fonts because it's also a color of the theme... http://www.darkomen-networking.com/karn/New-Layout.jpg and I overlapped the image cuz the image wasn't that outstanding looking on it's own so I thought I'll make it looks like it was apart of it... personally I like no.3... if I make the see through part of no.3 a color to not show through... will that be better?
