We have done so.

The effect on the balls are nice but there are some really nasty jaggies on there.
The section in the middle could use some type of border or something. It just seems to be a little flat.

OK the front page.. it is flat.. how about dumping those balls? Do you really need them? I like the face and colors thought...
Beta (old version)
1. LInks hooverover effect is a little weird. Why does it go from normal text to bold? I like the shade on the bottom, but maybe you could change the apperance of those links... for some reason, they don't stand out.
2. Liquid page.. nice
3. That menue on the left side, its kind of hard to catch it LOL
4. Love the color scheme that you let me pick on my own and love the way it stays when I come back to your site
5. Do you really need that spiderweb on the back? How about throwing some nice color as a backggound?
6. The site is dark
7. Love the content. Really "cool" written.
8. Bottom Copyright Info and all the other stuff looks the same as the content. I would change it a little..
Drop me email if you want to me scribble something for ya in PS... I will have some time next week...
Overall... I LOOOOVE the concept and ideas that are going around there...you just have to make it more exciting for me though.. throw some "happy" colors in there. It's WAPOD! Make it happy!

InI: I'm always happy to review your stuff but I'm still not sure what you are looking for a review on. I mean if the site is in the process of being done do you actually want reviews of the beta site (if you do let me know and I'll throw in some comments on that too - although it looks pretty similar to when I reviewed it last). So main page:
1. That is a spectacular DHTML effect there - I ran to the source to see what you'd done and was awful impressed by the simplicity. OK simplicity is wrong (as some serious work has gone into that) but it is nice and concise and I appreciate that in code (ducks before anyone can call him a nerd!!).
2. There is something wrong with your balls. The outer edge of them seems to be wrong - there is a rim or halo around them that just looks odd and detracts from the 3D look (its sort of grey on top and black at the bottom). Poorly explained by me and perhaps one of our more graphically minded people could jump in with an explanation of the problem.
3. You might want to turn the scrollbars off as they are a little distracting when the effect gets into full swing.
4. The page is lacking in TITLE and keyword and description metatags but this might be due to it being a placeholder.
I'm not sure what you are planning to do with that page (splash screen, front door, placeholder) but I like the look and feel (and the DHTML toy!!) I wouldn't be disappointed if it was made into a sort of front door.

Actually there isn't too much to add - I like it when it came up for review and the tweaks have really helper iron out most of my concerns. A few thoughts though:
1. You need keyword and description metatags.
2. My main gripe is the side panel - I've no idea why it moves in the opposite direction to the vertical mouse movement when the panel isn't expanded (the effect works nicely as a scroll when the panel is expanded). Is there any way that you could get it to track the vertical position of the cursor until the panel is expanded and then have the cursor movements make it scroll then? I've spent a bit wondering how to make the scrolling work and that is my best solution at the moment - I just don't like how it works in its present docked state.
3. The sub-options don't look like they match the main option graphic - two pipes (with circular cross sections) tend not to meet at a right angle and look like that.
4. I suppose I'd prefer the CSS swapping to be done client-side but we've already discussed that.
Other than that I like it - its clean and functional without being dull - I like it. I can tell you its crap if you like but not with a straight face!!
