Most useful, helpful, fucking fantastic site I've seen in a long time.
As for the design - not bad.. love the ability to change colours, love the navigation.. (though maybe spruce up the menu a bit?).. but with content like that I don't care about the looks! (within reason :-).
o DESIGN:
- The 'carved' text definetly rocks! I love it.
- I like the neatness, but it's a little bit too 'void'.
- Overall, it's clear.
o TECHNICS:
- great, rocking, awesome! I like, I love!
- proprietary code (ie5+ specifics) is, IMHO, not a good choice.... why shouldn't you consider using a standard and compliant scripting method? Using the dom for exemple? You are good, and narrowing your skill on ONE platform is AFAIC a waste of time!
As Doctor OZONE said, 'specialisation is for insects!'

I'll have to go through it agian later. I got to "Pooh Goes Apeshit" and had to stop. I can't beleive that you have this! I have been looking for it for about 4 years! I'll be back later to give it a review.
Thanks for the kind words guys and gals (though I could always use more ).
Some points..
This is my own personal website that I use to store 'some' of the scripts that I create, in the hope that they may be usefull to others, so it will constatntly be mutating as I get bored with the design.
Sonic - I agree that the menu does need some spucing up, but it was done as a demo (as in the MSDN menu) for someone, and in the lack of anything more fancy springing to mind, I decided to keep it (for now).
Hallon - I crossbrowser code at work all day long and get VERY bored with it ,I love the IE usability,DOM,etc, so shoot me....will probably toy with standards once I'm happy with the site overall.
Omera - When I was younger, I was the messiest little bugger that ever lived, the neatness thing is just a phase I'm going throug...I think....but it does allow for faster download....
CPrompt - Glad you like Pooh, try the Insanity test....I FAILED...
I will be adding MUCH more content in the near future, so stay tuned.
pwhitrow: I'll have to return when I have a browser that you find more acceptable. Its your call, of course, but being dumped in Google or sent to MS just because I'm using Opera isn't much of an option and as you are putting it up for review it might have been nice if you'd warned us!! I can't really see why you'd need to do that but... [edit: Rather than a pop up and a redirect (which seems so rude and impersonal) perhaps some kind of splash screen explaining things and offering links might be a better bet or you could do the browser detection and redirect people to to a page with an explanantion.]
Anyway it sounds good - I'll have to try to get IE6 back up and running again just to visit.
I'll drop my comments in then.
[edit: And I really do forget my manners - welcome to a fellow Brit. Get yourself on the locator map!!]

Emporer: Sorry about your browser bud, but it's a personal choice at the end of the day, and I'm not trying to reach millions of people to sell them a product or whatever. As I said, I just prefer IE for the way it handles itself. I have to agree with your last opinion though, I should give some kind of explanation/splash screen rather than the 'rude' alert box. This was just quick ly knocked up, and as I can view the site perfectly well, I forgot to refine it....sorry...very remit of me...will sort this out
pwhitrow: Yes after all you can admit or refuse anyone you want it just seemed a little ... abrupt. I thought that by hitting cancel I might be given the option of viewing your site now I knew the risks involved.
Anyway (with a bit of chicken blood and a pointy stick) I've got IE6 up and running and the site is very impressive and it is up there with: http://webfx.eae.net
for its DHTML widgets!!
It is probably also worth pointing out that some of your menus run off the bottom of the screen in 800x600 making it impossible to access the end of the menu.
The locator? I don't have the address to hand but there should be an active thread in the main forum.
As everyone else has said really nice work - its a pity about the accessibility but that is your call and at least you are upfront about it - what really gets me is when people add all sorts of goodies which break most other browsers.
I would suggest you join the Asylum ring (if you are going to be staying with us any length of time) but as things stand it would obviously break the ring for some people but if you do build a page to catch 'unacceptable' browsers then you might want to look into it.
Feel free to start a new thread in the main forum (use a similar title so mr.maX can spot it and update the map). Also see the current thread on pixel people!!
pwhitrow: OK much better (I'm using the IE5!!) - I wouldn't mind the option of rusking it just to get into the site and see the goodies but that is your call.
