Yep, the good ol' black and white comes to mind, timeless. But it needn't be restricted to those specific tones so long as there are only two. Photoshop has some really cool duotone tools. Image>mode>duotone allows you to tweak the curves of each tone. You have to be in grayscale first though or duotone will be grayed out. This link may be of use to some of us as well. So let's see it, new direction for your color stuff or maybe you feel like going all out shooting black and white with colored filters and such. Dodge and burn at will.
A few guidelines:
1. Photo needs to go along with the subject in some way.
2. Use thumbnails for photos with any dimension larger than 450 px or over 40 kb.
3. Post as many as you want.
4. At the end of the week the person who chose the topic will pick someone to choose the next topic. This isn't a "winner," just someone who gets to suggest the next topic.
5. No critiques (unless requested) this is just to share our photos.
6. No sigs.
edit: I feel I should correct myself. Since a black and white photo is actually a monotone they'll be fine too. Sorry if I've caused any confusion.
