I've experimented with Astral Projection in the past, spent a lot of time meditating, and using creative visualisation.

The mind is a powerful thing but I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't have the power to truly be outside of itself or its owner, but it can certainly convince its user of otherwise.

So what I'm getting at is that these experiences are comparable to dreams, more specifically lucid dreaming.

Blaise : interesting, thank you. However, in my case, these experiences have led to results like - me describing a remote and unknown area by scent. I was able to tell several persons what they were drinking, the components of their perfume, which flowers were in their garden, if they were smokers, etc.

I also am able to read auras remotely : to give a snapshot of the current state of a person.

And much more importantly : I mentioned healing according to the Buddhist methodology. Well, today, let me quote a fresh testimony I received from a person who was desperate... keeping in mind he lives on another continent, and I do this for free (I believe health is our birth right).

(while I dig it up : this is the method I myself practice - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLh7TzGHuHU
and I am able now, after daily training, to pull some of these - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkfMdIPE7QU )

There is no reason to "redefine" the Scientific Method - it works just fine.

Humans, on the other hand...well, they have always had a penchant for exaggeration, among other things

Never confuse misuse of a system by humans for a problem with said system. You need to examine the system itself and see if the problem is inherent in it or not.

The Scientific Method has survived peer review and the evidence is repeatable, so it is a reliable way of proving something.

What does that have to do with my comments?

I have never denied what I have experienced, but then, I also said that I CANNOT OFFER PROOF of what I experienced.

As such, my experiences are personal and only pertinent to myself. I know that I cannot prove what I experienced.

It is also possible that the events that I experienced took place soley in my own mind. I have since then seen some fascinating research into that sort of phenomena.

I posted that you should get this documented and proved. If you truly can do as you claim, then it would truly change much.

As for the humility and peace comment - well, just posting that little tiddle is enough to reveal that you are not coming in humility and peace (otherwise, you would not feel the need to point something like that out). Also, either you are what you claim (live it, do not claim it) much like Neo learned from the Oracle : either you are it, or you are not.

Claiming you "come in humilty and peace" and then demonstrating in the same paragraph that you are not is hardly constructive.

Pretty strange and erratic behavior, I might add. Why would you want to post something like that? It does not help your position in the least. It makes you look bitter and hostile.

Sad.

I will remind you to behave in this forum.

'Nuff said.

I tell you what - you tell me what cologne I have in my bathroom. I can post pics of my bathroom without problem.

easy there. You are the one that brought it up without supplying any info. I do plenty of research and I am about as open minded as they come. Well binary, I think this is the deciding point

quote:
I come in humility and peace with 268 cities and 50 countries following my teachings. You're not renowned for having ever fostered either.

Now, the first sentence, of and by itself, is harmless enough. Although I would argue that stating the number of cities and countries that "follow" his teachings after stating he comes in humility is contradiction enough.

But with that last sentence (which, by the way, is a personal attack - if he had posted "I am not aware of you having fostered such", that would have been different because it is neutral in tone. But the inclusion of the word ever here is what is deciding. Ini/AN does not know me in real life, so he cannot know what I have fostered or not. Thus, the inclusion of ever is a falsity, first of all. Second, since our interaction is mostly restricted to this forum, it is based then on things that have come before here. And I have fostered humility and peace occasionally here (not that I would think that Ini/AN would know that).

In any event, for one coming in humility and peace, resorting to a personal attack (call it a popshot if you will) at the end of such a paragraph is really self defeating.

It is like stating that one is an excellent marksman and is really good with weapons and then shoots oneself in the foot.

As for the Spirit Bear and the Bat Totem warning - that was actually me being nice. I do not assume that Ini/AN has any inkling about the spirit beings and protections that my People have slowly discovered and cultivated over tens of thousands of years of hard experience with the spirit world. With Ini/AN's meager 1+ year of experience, it is only just that he be fairly warned, once, of the dangers he would be facing if he chose to visit me in the spirit world.

Not that I think that he will look into it. But at least he was given fair warning on my behalf.

I find that pretty peaceful

Which attack? This is a mere observation. For the record, you have been insulting and threatening countless people in these halls WS : we all have made mistakes. Some learn and evolve from it, but this is right :

quote:

..and I think u were having a rough day to interprete argo’s message so negatively…..remember people see and hear what they want to hear….

Thank you binary. I recommend you re-read my post WS.

@Poi : I have not read your thoughts. I scramble my owns and never am allowed, by my spirit guides, into the spirit of someone who doesn't share an open love bond with me. What I did is "smell your area" as an extension of what is exposed here :
http://www.ted.com/talks/luca_turin_on_the_science_of_scent.html

@NoJive : Physician heal thyself.

Well, for the time being, it is this planet's health which is a "concern" to me. Kindly note, if you read what I posted about Shamen's position on tobacco, that properly used, it is a goodie. It's the addictive additions which make it a baddie. As far as I am concerned, wounds from past incarnations leave me with this in my shadow self : a tendency to denying myself what I like to give to others.

But I am well aware of it, and handling it.

quote:

As for the Spirit Bear and the Bat Totem warning - that was actually me being nice. WS, you - are - contradicting yourself here, now admitting you believe/know about the spirit world.

However, you shouldn't fear me or attack me out of the blue, it is unnecessary. First, because I have no qualms or fear you can press here, "Oh Lord of my own ego, self, you are pure illusion, you do not exist". Then, because it defeats your point and damages your health. And also, because the express education I received encompasses a whole lot about Aborigenes history which, like the rest, I will gladly share.

Then, the origin of Native American culture, one of the first sites : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aztlán

My frequent contacts with Lakota Indians, or their guides, typically, the white Buffalo calf woman, have led to these particular explorations, and more.

I say it again : we all have the power within. And warmongering is getting old.

WS, you - are - contradicting yourself here, now admitting you believe/know about the spirit world.

I have never contradicted myself - you ask me to read what is posted, and cannot do the same?

I have stated that such things are my personal experiences and that I cannot PROVE them to anyone else.

As for the spirit world, I "dabbled" as you are now doing, into it awhile ago. I got very, very lucky and didn't get into too much trouble during my very ignorant first tries, before I was taken under the wing of a much more experienced person.

After finding out about the sort of dedication such a journey takes, I found that I was not willing to invest that sort of time and energy into it.

So I stopped.

I have revealed this before in these halls, btw. I have no idea where you were at the time, Ini/AN.

Nowhere have I stated that I have not researched things about the spirit world, or learned what I could. I have posted numerous times about such experiences that I have had and I have never said that I have not had such experiences.

Again, falsities from you.

I can even distinctly remember when I mentioned that I believe in a Super Nature that DL-44 took that into question and we had an interesting discussion in that thread on that.

And an apology for your direct attack at me would be appreciated, or at least admit that you chose your words poorly. Admitting things was always your worst flaw, as I recall. Of course, I could be wrong here.

Perhaps you have worst flaws that I do not know about
