It's falling apart in IE6. The mountain background comes up but disappears as soon as I move the cursor... and when I click on say,,, biography the text will remain up only if the mouse hovers over bio.... move the mouse... bye bye bio... same with the rest. Please don't tell me that's what it's supposed to do.... you'll drive me even further down the dark hallway of the eastwing. <bg> |

Hmm i think NoJive has had one too many black pills...its fine on IE6 on a win2k platform at 1600x1200 , only one comment on the design link you lisy what you do but to find examples of it you have to look elsewhere on the site, likning from there directly might be a better solution |

Man, I love it...or so I thought at first...I was so overjoyed at the color, the logo, the 'playfulness' of the site...until the pop-up windows came... |

The text needs more contrast with the background! Try a color that doesn't match the top and bottom of the content area. |

I'm using IE 6.0 and everytime I load up another window, and then switch back to the one with your site in it, everything disappears, much like nojive said. Everything just turns blue... |

NoJive, synax, WarMage: I have seen what you are talking about but not on any of the machines I have immediate access to. At work on Packard Bell PII233 running IE5.5on WIN 98 It all works fine. At Home I use a AMD 950 and IE 5.5 Win ME with no problems. A colleague at work runs a HP All in one with IE 6 and win ME and his does what you are describing by losing the background on mousemove. I have not seen it on changing between windows. I am at a loss as to what is causing this. I can try to further optimize the image but I don't know if it is coding that is having problems with certain configurations. Any info on what you guys are using and any ideas of what might cause this are very welcome. |
