Hey Karn! Just checked out your site.
I like the overall site. The only thing that I don't really care for is how the text shows up on that yellow background. It is really hard to read White on that shade of Yellow.
also, when I view the comments, All I can see if the user info. I am not too sure that many people would like to have their IP address viewable to everyone.
No link to the Asylum!!??!!
May want to join the Asylum webring as well as put a button to Asylum, Hands-On and the Guru's Network.

thanx i got comments from somebody about the text on bg thing so i'll try to make it bolder or put a faded color behind... hmmm ppl don't like their ip shown eh... yeah I'll take that out then... asylum webring i thought that was for major scriptor's sites and stuff... but if you say so i'll join... and sure i can work more on the splash cuz it was a rush to finish before 12:00 am yesterday... lol
The fact that WarMage "couldnt get in" is saying something abot usabilty the code does work
you just have ot click on the
Fused Effect // Music
or
Fussed Effect // No Music
it took me quite a while to figure that out... thing is most people arent going to stick aroudn that long they like asite they can get into right away
you just cant on this site .. i can see lots of people staying on your splash page and not getting nay further
Other than that i like the desing i even like some of the work on the site i've got that blue image with the chick on the left as my desktop wallpaper
Yeah, just to reiterate really. The site is very difficult to get into. I would make changing that your top priority. We're here to review your site, so most of us will take the few extra moments (or, in this case, many extra moments) to figure things out, but most people out there wouldn't be so patient. If I came upon this site in the course of surfing, I would probably leave in frustration after about five seconds or so, unless I really wanted to see the site. In which I case I might give it ten seconds or more.

yep i got some complaints on that from my partner's side too... don't worry i'll fix that in 2 days to make it bigger and all... just i have to work tommorow and today then i have stuff on thursday... sorry...
Good: I think your splash is fine. I really dig the "m-box". I think it's cute and it makes the scrollbar look like it's part of the design.
Bad:
1) The white text on yellow bg is hard to read.
2) The buttons on the side have the same color problem added to the fact that the name on the button changes before I click. That's confusing.
Suggestions:
1) See how you used a slightly transparent grey box around the track name in the m-box? use that again on all the other text boxes on the main page to A: add consistency and B: increase legibility. I realize that it will be impossible to make a background for those table cells that would match up with the grid you have there already, so go ahead and use something completely different! Try bubbles for instance, just to throw out ideas.. like this page! This page is perfect! pretty yellow ANND readable text
2) Take out just a few pixels from the bottom of that yellow grid BG. I can see where the lines beside the numbers on the right side squish together in one place, and there's a tiny gap between the numbers there too. Easy fix.
3) If you really want to include the title of the place each button is going to, you could always write it on top or bottom of the button..
[edit] oop... you're links are also the same color as regular text.. That's a big no-no.. [/edit]
Right. I'm sorry we're all butchering your site KARN. It looks great, and with a little help it can be something you'll be proud of in your later years.
Shine and shine.

Ok... I was going to fix up some of the problems but you mentioned some new ones too... it's just we were spending days getting the forum up and i forgot to work on the site itself... i'll get to it but I'm currently working on an online exhibition so I'll see about it in my spare time ... thnx
Yeah. We can all read it with effort, but it's hard. Like my moniter is starting to fadea away to computer heaven, so the picture is a tiny bit blurry. Contrast helps the eyes focus. And, in my case, contrast helps a lot. Yes, I should get a new moniter. I might get one this weekend. It's a matter of usability.
I want you to know how utterly inadaquate I feel after looking through your site. Of course, I didn't even have a computer that could run photoshop. . . didn't even know what photoshop was when I was your age. (Only three years ago. . . but hey)
