Topic: My second atemp (Page 1 of 1)

Hello, here is my second atemb about web design.
It is for a friend, and is designed for a kind of shirt´s shop.
This is only the main page, and the top of the page is not finish yet. I have to fix somethings like the gif image because is too heavy.

If you have some time, and you want to post your feed back, i would thank your help very much.
The page is for a 800x600 resolution, and i dont know what to do for centering the page in all resolutions. If you know how to do it... please tell me.

wel for starters i didnt like the way the site loaded it was all wrong.. really wrong
actulay it bugged the crap out of me. i got ready to review the site thinking it had loaded and then more loads... you need some sort of preloader. i think

that flashing gif ... is
1 jerky when it goes from blue to a black block it kidna flash's wich is nasty looking
2 it's distracting from the rest of the page

secondly the top banner with the words
"peticiones" "links" "subscribe" and then the faded court with scanlines just did'nt go with the rest of the design well not in my eye's anyway

Yes, i dont like the basketball court at the top of page... that is why i said it was not finished. But i didn´t know what to place there, and i put that for the moment. I will try to think about something else.

And i think that i need a preloader too. But i dont have idea how to make one, so i will read about it, and i will try to do it. Hehehe i am a total newbie.

How can i choose the way images are loaded? the order, or something.
My web loads really bad.
