I've redesigned my site (dunno if you saw the first one).. The menu is far from ready, i'ts just there to get an idea of what it shoul look like. Most of the code is a mess.

So, what do you think of the design?

Thanks in advance y'all.

nice big blue horizontal space across the top of the screen...

what are you going to do with it?

when i click on links your spacing isn't uniform -- ex: the space between big text headers and blue horizontal bar of boredom.

uhm.. that's it? needs more. move the text to the right side of the screen, figure out the blue bar, i don't know.. do something my good man.

What browser are you using?

Don't think I'm gonna move the text, maybe centralise the whole site.

Anyway, thanks for your crituique.

quack.

maximise on 1152 x 864... and that's a poor use of screen real estate buddy.

some smooth colours.

and yeah, most of the code is a mess.... if you want a good menu, you can always download one... milonic (.com) is free for personal use... and hiermenus is fantastic, i don't know if it costs tho.

oh - and before you go coding yourself in a corner, let me vent - i really don't like it when i don't know whether a menu click will open a whole new page, or just a submenu...

quack.

If the visitor doesn't have Javascript on, or if his browser doesn't support the Javascript you're using (as in the case of my Opera 6), provide the visitor with an alternative! For instance, provide a complete list of links instead of the collapsed view. Try looking at your page in a text-only browser and see what happens.

If it's purely a personal site, you're free to bar whatever users you want, of course. But if it's meant to stand as an example of full-scale professional web design, cross-(device

Thanks for your critique.
As I said, the menu is far (far far) from ready, it's just put up so you get the idea of what it will look like. My next site is going to work in ALL browsers .
And reitsma, actually I designed this page in 1280x1024, hehe.

Just now I really doubt I'm gonna keep this design.
