Tableless css is a pain...
Would you let me know if you have any problems viewing the site.
I've checked it with (NS-4.61, NS-7, Mozilla-1.2.1, Opera-6, and IE-6) and had no problems.
The link is with the sig..

Thanks for any help guys...
Take care..

"Bennies Midi Page" needs to be centered. Bad Pop ups when you go to your guest book... but hey that's a HUGE improvement from what you first showed us several months back. Good work I'd say.

Almost forgot.... typo on front page. "sent" should be "send."

NoJive... Got the logo and the typo corrected. As for the popups, not much I can do with them unless I make my own guestbook. Zonealarm always blocks them, the most I see are the static ads. Thanks for the constructive comments.

'New Midi' and 'Rock A-I' the Bennies midi bit is left aligned.... the rest all seem to be centered.

Almost almost... <lol>

NoJive... I've checked in all my browsers and they all seem to be centered.
Did you refresh your browser.
Anyone else see the logo uncentered?

everything is ok for me
logo is centered.

~browsing with opera 7~

The only remark here is about the main rectangle in the mid (where the pages load)
When i click from the home page to one off the others it looks like the rectangle is moving to the left a few pixels.
when i go back to the home-page, the rectangle moves back to the right. Maybe you should check the position from the rectangle again.

nice job.

Rinswind, the reason that is happening is because on the other pages a scrollbar is present, where on the main page there is not. This is not a bug with the CSS, but with the browser, which automatically subtracts the width of the scrollbar from the width of the page itself--so centering *looks* off, but in fact is not.

MIDI--As for the rest of the site, I'd say you've done a good job making the site into CSS, table-less design. My only complaint would be putting some padding on the menubar on the left of the page. An extra px or two would be very nice to see, and would give the words space to exist.

Keep in mind, however, that, on many browsers, padding, margins, and borders are added to the total width of a defined cell. You may have to take advantage of workarounds to see to it that this does not affect your design. Looking at it, however, I doubt you'll have a noticable problem. By adding just a little padding, you'll not be changing the way it fits in the area alotted for it on the left. On some browsers the option areas will simply be wider than on others. No biggie.

Otherwise, good job on compliance, bud. Nice to see it.

I just want to add that I think this site looks very streamlined and professional now. I am not a fan of MIDI, but if I were, yours would be one that I bookmarked because it was easy to navigate, pleasing to the eye, and relatively simple in content.

Think I got the padding right in the menu boxes.
I tried to add 200px of padding to the bottom of the center div to add scroll bars to all pages.
But then NS-4.61 also moved the center div down about 200px, So that was a no go.
Any more comments?
And again, thanks for the help guys you are great...

oops i overlooked the scrollbar. Which actually is good since my attention was at the content from the site.

Looks good, however the title "Bennies Midi Page" is not centered on my browser either.... Maybe you are missing the "Centered" part, the b in Bennies is lined up with the m in Midi... It shouldn't be if it is centered... All that aside, the site looks great and flows smoothly...

Good Job!

I like your page, it has a very nice looking color scheme and everything.

One thing that is sort of anoying for me though, is the way when you hilite a song, it hilites all the way to the end of the whole block. You can have your mouse way to the right of the song name, and it selects it. It's sort of a pain when you are scrolling with the mouse wheel and it keeps selecting every song. But it's no big deal, I just thought I would mention it...
