Well, yes, the link works.

The site?
Ok, personally I don't understand the purpose, but that's probably just me.

The beveled image at the top is quite heavy on the site, the curved section has jaggies.
The rest of the site doesn't feel ready.

Use css to style the table borders a bit nicer.
And if I were you i'd thing one more time on the use of serif fonts (times and the like) in any smaller sizes. It's harder to read than sans-serif (arial, verdana, tahoma and the likes)

Color all in all, it feels, dunno, grey...
More depressing than positive/neutral which I suspect is your goal.

Short but useful review I hope
/Dan

Thanks! Your critsim is much appreshated.

The page is about a book I did for a Bible Study, trying to show Protesants the True Faith, but lets not get into that, that would make it the Philosophy Thead.

Now that you mention it I can see the Jaggies....

And the table is kinda lame, looks like I hand coded it.. and I did....

I'm looking at it on the monitor here and the color doesn't look the same here as it does on my monitor at home. Is there some kinda standard or way to calaberate my monitor?

One more thing, what resolution did you view it at?

I'm running 1600*1200 but I never, ever maximize, so browser size, probably 8-900 px wide and roughly the same height.

Hand coded table? what difference would that make?
Hand code = good! You can still style it though

Just one thing..
When you click on the triangle, and that drop down pop drops. I think where it says home..buy book...About church..logout. This should maybe be right justified so that the user does not have to move the mouse all the way over to the left.

Also, the table seems pretty big to just say Chapter 1, etc. I think it sould maybe be littler.

I really like the cross. And I also like the color scheme.

Yeah sorry Hugh SuqCom (~pronounacation key: Su-ck Com~) shut down my internet connection last week you going to have to wait until I get another one. And no logging in is not like an ftp site, it just brings up a form and you fill that stuff in.

Thanks Gilbert, I like the color scheme too, and the Cross, I didn't draw that (well I colored it in), that's the 3 Bar Cross of the Orthodox Church. I'll get right on it and fix the menu. But man I had no idea users were so lazy...I guess I'll have to remeber that. Next time it's up (and I'll post it) it'll probably be on my New Server (provided I ever get that to work).

Yeah I really need to find a way to ether center the tables (that's easy) or make it so that it extends it the length of the monitor....I'll go work on that too.

Thanks for the reviews everbody!

mob68com: read either the first post in this thread, or the post above your post to see why the page is down...
