I don't know about that one.

MS doesn't have much documentation on their site yet.

Sash, that hasn't happened *yet*. MS always ahs replaced prior versions unless you're running from different partitions. I really don't think they'll start caring now

Well, there's a reason why you can't install several different versions of IE on the same computer (unless you're running two different OSes) and that is because whole system depends on the HTML rendering engine that is the main part of IE. You see, IE actually consists of a lot libraries that do various things and there's simply no way for different libraries (dll files) to co-exist without problems...

has anyone installed it over IE5.5 and then uninstalled it? If so does it uninstall cleanly and return IE5.5 to the way it was?

Just so everyone knows, it won't install on Win95 systems. Microsucks is forcing us to upgrade, not only our browser each time, but our OS now! Talk about built-in profit sources! Arrgh!

IMHO People should switch from old Win9x series to NT based platform (Win2K or WinXP). One reason why MS won't support old OS anymore is that a lot of things have to be upgraded in order for all new stuff to work (practically, you would end up with a new OS at the end)...
