threep wonders about this....
"well, i believe that sort of definition has deprecated" he says...
"try defining body{margin:0} in your stylesheet"
seeing as this is css2 specs (to his knowledge), he figures this should work.

You know, it's funny. I've been working recently with clients that want CSS capability, but still want it to break gently in older browsers. So I've had the joy of writing the four horsemen (leftmargin, topmargin, marginheight, marginwidth) in my <body> statement, but I've also put body { margin : 0 } in my css. Then I generally have two stylesheets--one for minor typographical manipulation that I know a NN4 user can see, and then another one (benice.css) that is my neat stuff that I use the @import tag for and NN4 ignores. So it's a happy treat.

Would be even better if I weren't writing two stylesheets. At least I'm not doing two seperate versions of the whole site.. that'd be downright lame.

It's also a good practice to specify RIGHTMARGIN and BOTTOMMARGIN parameters...
