Does anyone know wher a full list of commands for this might be I have been able to use bits and pieces like background-color and border-color but I know there are more. I have tried searching but am not finding anything specific enough.

Quarath: There aren't (m)any table specific styles just use the ones you are already using: border, margin, padding, etc.

Read through briggl's CSS tutorials:
www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorials/css/cssintro/cssintro1.html
www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorials/css/cssintro2/cssintro2-1.html

and you should have everything you need (I think - if not look up the CSS2 recommendations and have a nose around).

Yep, those tutorials will give you a good deal of info.

The style attributes that exist are relevant to all elements - like Emperor said, there are no table specific CSS specs.
