Topic: Cocoon Tutorials (Page 1 of 1)

Anybody know where there are any good tutorials on Cocoon?

I seem to have installed it right, however when I try to do an example on it, the directory claims that my XML file is not found.

(Be back in a little bit with a more specific problem)

Stupid question time: what's cocoon?

I did a google search...

Wow maybe it is that new....

Cocoon is an add on to Apache Tomcat that allows you to use XML and XSL to transform your data into PDFs, SVG documents, and WAP etc... etc.... etc....

I think it sounds like a pretty useful technology if I could only get a good tutorial on it.

Maskkkk: There probably aren't too many Cocoon tutorials although (last time I checked) it is a collection of XML modules so you might want to look for tutorials on using them. I can't think I've run across too many out there but if you do see any then drop them in.

Did you click on that link up there? There are a lot of results stating that they contain cocoon tutorials.

I don't know anything about cocoon...but I clicked on some of thoes links, and they led to - you guessed it - cocoon tutorials.

I suppose I may be missing somehting though...

DL: Good point. You do need to register for the IBM ones (no big deal if I remember correctly) and these look like good resources:
