Ok I'm a rook in this area so I need alitle help here. I made something in Flash that has sound in it so I saved it as a .swf file so I could upload it to a web page. Well I can't get the background to fit in my browser right so I went to import it to Dreamweaver hoping I could solve the prob there. Is the only way to import the file is to go to Insert>Media>Flash? Basically I want to black background to fit to the browser....any way possible. Any suggestions? Thank's! |

I second Dracusis's comments. I'm confused about the problem too. Show and tell. Upload the page, give us the URL and maybe that will clear things up. |

I'm just new to this and experimenting w/ no background to computer graphic's or animation...and I sure the heck am no artist. I just want to figure out how to get thing to look right from my browser (don't go in to the cross browser crap...way over my head) |

Steve your reading my mind now brother! So I screwed up to begin w/, right? That what I see on my browser also. So what would your opion be as far as starting from scratch? What should be the size of the image/page, what ever it's refered as? In Flash and in Photoshop? Go by pixel's, %, inches? |

Chad: I'd go by your own results, minus a little for safety. That 800x600 is pretty arbitrary to begin with, and does not account for all the browser junk at the top and bottom of the window - the navigation buttons and the status bar that are part of your browser's interface (not the stuff that you build into your own navigation system). So 800x600 is misleading. |
