i had my teacher burn me 2 mp3's on a cd.... i take it home and download win amp..... nothing....... i believe i have a 16 bit sound card......233 mhz mmx (.dont know if that matters)...... i dont even get an icon when i look up the files on my cd player just paper icons like no file association...... soooo how do i get them to play i cant even import them into flash hrmmmmmmnnnnnn.... |

If you burn an mp3 it changes the format of the file.... you need to just download the mp3 directly from your computer and then upload it. |

When you right mouse click and select properties, what is the file type? I would assume if your teacher burn you the mp3s, they would have been burnt in a format playable by Winamp. You can find a list of what Winamp supports here. Check to see if theres even a file type specified. That could be the problem. |
