just besides that the image is perfect where is the big difference to the brazil engine? i guess this one could also be made with the regular engine. |

Mainly in the shadows and lighting. There is only one light in the scene. |

I'm definatley loving the brazil bunny better. Every picture I've every done with Brazil though has turned out all grainy and stuff. How do you avoid this? |

i haven't gotten to play with any of the Gi renderers yet, looking forward to using Arnold (which will end up being messiah:render) when it's released. Das, what're your render times like? |

That one was like 3 minutes, and most of that was the reflections. Without the reflections, I think it was taking less than a minute. |

I don't have an eye for this kind of thing so I can't really see any differences. I can understand differences in render time, but I can't tell visually. |

@Skaarjj, you should definitely increase your GI Samples in case that you're using self-illuminated materials.The GI samples in 0.2.26 are set to -3 by default, that means only every ninth pixel gets a GI sample ray. The other pixels are simple blended afterwards and that is what causes those ugly artifacts (*twiddle-spits-on-the-ground*). |
