Hey what the hell are those cel-shade graphics...I seen some games starting to use 3D graphics that look like 2D...can anyone explain how they work?! |

Well there is a plugin for MAX that is called Illutstrate. You can save as an flash- outline, cellshade or 3d-object. |

You can achieve a sort of cel shading, using photoshop actions, and batch processing. |

Thankyou olssonE! That is an awesome link! I've been wondering how to do stuff liek this myself. I have a copy of Brazil, but I don't know how to use the cartoon shader. I should look into that. But aweomse techniqes for getting similar effects... wow.. I never thought about using the falloff before, but seriously, the one olssonE found is golden. That will work for any of you guys using POV. |
