I don't think #8 is really a logo as much as it would be the header of a page which incorporates logo #7.

I like #7.

#9 / #10

That would be my choice for a banner.

However for a title image, I have not seen one I like yet. #6 would be close, but not quite there yet.

We get into defintions again here (but I'm a pedant so I enjoy that kind of thing).

6 although 8 is very close there too (perhaps if 6 were redone with the logo...).

Although, this voting seem rather premature. I would think you'd want to actually discuss and develop the logo, then take sumbissions, then vote. It all kind of happened a little backwards really.

The submission/discussion period happened simultaneously, so there was no clarity as to what was needed as people were developing them.

I agree with DL, here. Let`s talk about this some more, and take some new ones, maybe.

hey DL, I agree that most of the logos are not well developed yet.
*But*, this does not happen simultaniously.
There has been a logo proposal thread since 12-02-2001 now. And it didn't move at all for the last two weeks...
Anyhow, get more proposals, and we'll dump the vote and take it up again :-)

DL and DB there has been logo and design talk going on for about a month now and no one seemed to be proposing anything new. Unless either of you have an idea you'd like considered I say why not just get this thing moving before interest dies out?

nr 7 for logo, nr 8 (or some version thereof) for header graphic.

Well 7 & 10 (and 9, but that?s the same as 10) does it for me, why you ask?

Well 1 & 10 are more like what logos should compared to the rest of the others which in my view are half logo and half banner or header. I think the rest are good but would fill the page and give less page content to be shown on first look with out scrolling down the page. That?s my view on this, but I still think more input, more ideas would help to find a suitable logo for PSpong.

I will make some logos and some more layouts if I can, when I get better after being ill for the past few days.

I see TP has moved this place a little to get us all moving again, which is great and the code is almost done so I think it's time to test and design the front end of this site to what we have done with the code, as the front end started and faded away (don't know why?). I think we have good starting points like logos and layouts plus the nice code to start things rolling again. What do you think?

It´s a nice one...
You have to do some work at the "PhotoShop", Minkies.
The first "h" is too far from the "P" and also the "o" to the "t" needs some work..
If you fix this, I liek ti a lot

why not instead create and vote on a logo and text MASK (Channel) before voting on the final thing?

that way, everyone gets to refine and develop the selected logo or text instead of just picking a poor image because the logo shape is better...

(no, I'm not talking about anybody's images, just selection stategy)
