It's a tad big compared to what other people use, though. Maybe if you could make the cut move to the side instead of down, you could cut down on the heighth. -

I have to echo Mahjqa's comment regarding size. Maybe if you crop it from just below the knee?

Anyway, it's a TEST to see how well something like this works, b/c I am in the process of painting a hand "pushing forth" from the Ozone bg. I probably should have posted that in the first place, but I was in a rush to get to practice and didn't feel like explaining the history behind it. Besides, I love Dali's work, and this came up when I was looking for references, I couldn't help myself. The man was a genius.
