I didn't even plan to make this, kinda just happened. I like it though, it looks realistic enough to me.

Bah, that blade is hella wide!

Try beating my record for making sigs... 9 in 7 days if I recall it right. I also agree with insider, the blade is a little too wide.

Yeah, you need to stop that. It's a bad habit.

I like the handle. I'm not sure about the blade. It's too bright. Throw some reflections into it.
The width of the blade doesn't bother me. Not all daggers are stillettoes, some of them were/are quite wide. Plus we are talking about an image here. Being an effective weapon has litle to do with its function (which is being a sig, duh!).

The crossguard is interesting and appears to be leather-like in texture. Was that your intention? You can make it more metallic by throwing a highlight onto it and deeping the shading.

Keep playing with it. I'd love to see where this ends up.

I was trying to make the handle look like strands of leather had been wrapped around it, while also spelling out my name(kinda hard to see). I made the shape of the blade and applied some Lighting Effects, then pasted an image of the sky with some clouds into it and put the blend mode to color dodge. It looked alot better at original size.

I know your pain. I can't count the number of sigs I've made that looked perfect when I made them at 400x300 and looked like crap after I resized them to 100x75. I forgot to mention that I really liked the cloud engraved onto the blade.
