Topic: New Forum

Doc ~ Over the past few months, I've realized an innundation of print-based folk that are coming on here. Perhaps incorporating something that is more print-related than web-related could help communicate some of the ideas and questions that I'm sure many people have...

Perhaps an Illustrator forum, or just a Print Specialists forum or something like that... You know?

I don't know if I'm allowed in here, but I just wanted to say that I would really like such a forum. I like this place. Unfortunately, I don't feel too useful overall (Although I love the PS forum)because I work in print.

You were chiefly in my mind when I thought of this, but I also think of myself and Steve Nelson as two other candidates for speaking about print matters.

Just makes sense to cover more of our bases than we currently are.

I agree twitch....I work with a lot of graphics design for print and would really like to share what I know and I would also like to learn more.

Yah, I'm OK with this. Who wants to be moderator of this thing, you twItch^, Boudga, Steve, someone else? I'll go look at the front page again and see where it fits. Let me know what's what, cool?

*smiles from a corner* as a newbie to the print world. i would be thrilled to watch the dialogue in the new forum... i'm just learning quark and have a book, but it would be great to have knowledgeable people around to answer questions..

I'd be interested in seeing a print-based forum as well. Not much to contribute....but it's be nice to see, and what better place than here??

And, of course, seeing as twitch brought the idea up, and would have plenty to contribute......I nominate him as moderator
